Office Updates Relating to COVID-19

Dear Garrett & Boyd Orthodontics Community,

We wanted to reach out personally regarding the current situation with the novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19.  Each day brings new developments and our hearts go out to all affected. Please know that we are monitoring the situation closely.

As of March 22, 2020, Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order stating that all licensed health care professionals and all licensed health care facilities shall postpone all elective procedures that are not immediately medically necessary until  April 30, 2020.  At this time, all appointments scheduled in our office through April 30, 2020 are postponed.

We are pleased to offer virtual consultations to our patients during the Covid-19 Crisis. If you have an upcoming appointment, or your appointment has been postponed,  we have virtual appointment options available to you.  If you wish to have a virtual appointment please follow the link and follow the steps to initiate those appointments:

Depending on the type of care the appointment requires, our doctors will also be available for virtual chat as needed.

At Garrett & Boyd Orthodontics, we are doing our part to keep safety a priority for everyone. You have placed your trust in us to oversee the orthodontic care of you or your family member, and we take that job seriously.  We intend to continue care virtually until we are able to be back in the office.

Again, our office will be closed through April 30, 2020 and will reopen on May 4, 2020.  In the meantime, you can chat with our office staff through our website and/or text if you have any questions.  We will be monitoring the situation closely and will be in communication with patients and parents in regards to decisions in the coming weeks.
